Me
and my wife Lisa have directed the Junior church
ministry at Patuxent Baptist Church for nearly nine
years. God has blessed us so much in this ministry that
words could not even begin to explain it. We have been members of PBC for
almost 12 years.
I
was saved on an aircraft carrier in 1991 and God has
really given me a burden for young people. My desire for
the children at Patuxent Baptist Church is to see them
saved and grow up and stay with the Lord. In our world
today, children have pretty much gone wild. Even in
Christian homes, children are running wild and by the
time they are teenagers they are pretty much gone from
God. Our
Junior Church mission is to keep the children excited
about the Lord and the things of the Lord. Our children
need to know that God is real and exciting and living a
true Christian life is wonderful. Most of the children come
to church not because they have to, but I want them to come because they want to. That is
my hope and, even though their home life is the biggest
factor in that, I believe that our junior Church program
is very important in helping them to love the lord.
